MEAT (2015)

Influenced by the art of Barbara Kruger, noise rock and films like America Psycho and Little Children, MEAT is a winner of the Arizona Film Wars "Best Short Film" in 2015 and lead actor Aaron Ginn-Forsberg garnered a "Best Actor" from the Art City Film Festival.  MEAT explores the raw, undisturbed inner thoughts of a middle-aged man amidst a supposed typical mid-life crisis.

“MEAT is a rich and provacative stab at self aware meta drama.”
— Cinema Crazed (Felix Vasquez)

Directed By: Jordan Wippell

After the mild, small successes of "Up Route" and the "Erase" music video, MEAT was another collaboration between myself, Director Wippell and Gwyneth Christoffel. This was the first to garner an award outside of a 48-hour film challenge.

Starring Arizona actor Aaron-Ginn Forsberg, this short displays just how dark and secret some of our everyday thoughts can be. We found ourselves down in Tucson within two months of filming for the Arizona Film Wars, and were very surprised that we did take home Team Brandingo's first award.
